Water Reuse

Industrial Uses

Industrial Reuse

Industrial Reuse is the use of reclaimed water in large scale industrial settings, such as manufacturing or energy production. The water demands of industries are often great. In addition, many of the processes that use the water do not require especially clean water. General activities that are commonly carried out using reclaimed water include various water cooling applications and use in boilers. In addition, each industry requires water for it's own specific purposes. The water quality requirement for each of these specific activities varies greatly across industries so treatment before reuse must be specifically tailored to each use.
