Water Reuse

Agricultural Uses

Agricultural Reuse

Agricultural Reuse is the process of using reclaimed water to irrigate crops. Agriculture is one of the most water intensive activities that humans engage in, so it makes sense that water reuse would be popular in this area. Challenges associated with using reclaimed water in an agricultural setting include estimating demand using a variety of factors such as seasonality and ensuring that the water is of sufficient quality so as not to contaminate the crops or the soil.
